It has been a bit and I have had so much going on. I don't pretend to write on a regular basis, but I have been absent on social media as well. That is for both very good and for challenging times. The good is a new grandbaby that we helped to watch prior to him starting daycare. He is so fun and growing fast.
Welcome Charlie Higgins Knight.
The not so great are challenges with my rheumatoid arthritis. I have suffered with this for the last five or so years and have much permanent damage to my hands although little to no pain. I paint as always and I guess, just adjusted as I needed with the changes in my hand structure. They aren't pretty but they work. Lots of hand therapy helps. I have also had medication changes for my RA and hopefully it will keep it at bay. Each medication is a bit overwhelming with the worries of side effects and if it will actually work. Not for the faint of heart.
The second part of the not so good but potentially great is that I am getting a knee replacement at the end of this month. I've put this off and now its time! I'm scared and excited. I am ready to be back to walking easily and without the pain of bone on bone. I've been doing loads of PT to make surgery as easy as possible. That said I will be out of commission for at least 4 weeks after surgery. I won't be shipping or painting for a bit. I will post the details and dates on my site and social media. Thank you for listening and following along. I so appreciate all your support.
If you need a piece let's chat soon!
